If you missed last week’s news, we made a huge announcement! Prophit Co. has just revealed our newest endeavor: Leadership Adventures.

It’s a suite of leadership and culture-building experiences that takes your team out of the office and on the road—in a luxury leadership-themed limousine bus. Leadership Adventures. Just another way we are Re-imagining Leadership!

So, why a bus? There is literally no better metaphor for the work we’re doing than a bus. As an Organizational Health company, it’s the perfect symbol of how to achieve a vibrant organization. Just think of all the idioms you’ve heard at work over the years: “We need to get everyone on the bus,” “Business will be smoother if we get people in the right seats,” and “We need to all move in the same direction.” These idioms are so common because they hold so much truth!

Let’s break these bits of wisdom down for a moment.

  1. What’s the outcome when my associates all get on the bus?

    According to Forbes, disengaged employees cost U.S. companies up to $550 billion per year! Engage them by getting your staff on the proverbial bus and achieving buy-in. Imagine everyone on your team being highly motivated and raring to go every day. Like a road runner on Red Bull—passionate, enthusiastic people are unstoppable!

  2. What about the right seats?

    As bestselling author Jim Collins illustrated in his book Good to Great: “The executives who ignited the transformations from good to great… first got the right people on the bus (and the wrong people off the bus) and then figured out where to drive it.”

    When you scoot your motivated team members into their sweet spots they can achieve even more. Have a billing associate with a passion or talent for sales? Move them into the seat where they can apply their strengths and interests.

  3. Ok, but what about this moving in the same direction stuff?

    So, now you have a highly motivated team, all operating in their sweet spots, right? When they all board the same bus with the same destination in mind, you’re all supporting a common, crystal-clear goal. Then, BOOM. You reach the very pinnacle of possibility. In fact, according to McKinsey, your company is twice as likely to outperform competitors if you have a focus on Organizational Health. Twice.
