Social Media Coordinator / Graphic Designer

Position Summary

The Social Media Coordinator/Graphic Designer will find new, creative ways to engage audiences, improve social media presences across platforms, and increase knowledge of Prophit Co. and our clients. They will create world-class graphics, videos and other assets that continue to build brands.

The ideal candidate will be well-organized, self-motivated, and dependable. They will enjoy new opportunities and challenges, deal with criticism calmly, be detail-oriented when completing tasks, and be flexible by meeting needs as they arise.

Education Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • 2-4 years of social media and design experience

Skill Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication (written and oral) skills
  • Possess strong organizational skills, team-orientated philosophy, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven digital content skills
  • Experience in content creation and video production
  • Experience establishing and tracking social media KPIs/analytics
  • Ability to create for different target audiences
  • Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premier Pro)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • WordPress & Mailchimp knowledge is a plus, but not required

Additional Details:

  • Full Time – 95% traditional office hours with approximately 5% evenings and weekends based on event needs

Key Responsibilities

Production & Design:

  • Utilize all social media platforms including (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging social content to include graphics, photos, and short-form videos
  • Design company newsletters, e-blasts, ads, posters, labels, and other print pieces as needed
  • Test assets and optimize based on asset performance
  • Monitor messages and comments from followers and respond appropriately
  • Effectively purchase ads on various social media platforms to boost social media posts and increase following


  • Work with content team to brainstorm monthly
  • Manage project task list and content calendars
  • Balance between immediate needs and cyclical deadlines
  • Schedule posts across platforms

Research & Best Practices:

  • Operate with a degree of autonomy by receiving project assignments, completing on time, understanding direction and applying feedback
  • Follow relevant business pages and ensure the accounts we interact with are appropriate and professional
  • Posses a deep understanding of social media best practices by platform & document those practices

Team Collaboration:

  • Understand weekly priorities and help the team achieve production goals for Prophit Co. & our clients
  • Present new ideas that will help grow the business
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency
  • Have an agile mindset to work both independently and within the team
