We’re now in the third, very impactful chapter of our free, virtual 30-Minute Slow Down Series. This June, Jenn Endries, Founder and Owner of JennEd, LLC and Academic Dean at Rasmussen College, has been presenting her four-part series on The Power of Positivity.
In her third installment, Jenn reveals two new Powerful Positive Habits: The Power of Tuning In and The Power of Experience.
To increase positivity in our everyday lives, Jenn recommends “tuning in” by utilizing meditation and visualization techniques. In as little as ten minutes a day, some calm breathing can still the mind while reducing anxiety and depression. In calming ourselves mentally, we can be more mindful—helping us to make better decisions, be more aware and present in the moment and more engaged in life!
She also suggests we harness the Power of Experience by focusing on gratitude. This powerful emotion can be activated by keeping a gratitude journal and celebrating life’s powerful and small moments. She shares that we can even create new, elevated moments for ourselves by stepping outside of our routines—lifting ourselves out of the ordinary and building positivity.
